Nips No MORE! The Sals on North Main in Winnipeg has closed its doors for the last time Monday after it was listed for sale in early February. The restaurant was built in 1963. In the decades since, Boyce said this Sals location served everyone from politicians to sports figures and musicians such as Burton Cummings. It was a meeting place and an eating place, and some say that area of town will never be the same without those breakfasts and burgers, known as NIPS.
