Headlines June 16:

-Manitoba crash: 15 people have died in a tragic highway collision near Carberry, as RCMP from across the province were deployed to the scene along with the STARS air ambulance services from Winnipeg & Regina and other first responders.

-Hours after the crash family members in Dauphin sat tense, waiting to find out news of loved ones, of which many fear the worst. RCMP say a bus collided with a semi-truck on the Trans-Canada Highway, 15 people were killed, and 10 others taken to hospital with injuries.

-Mounties said the bus was transporting mostly seniors from Dauphin and area to a local casino. Investigators leaning on lessons learned from Humboldt Broncos tragedy. MB RCMP turning to their SK counterparts for help in investigating.

-Taxi driver in hospital after being stabbed on the job in Wpg on Henderson Hwy Wed, no arrests made.

-MB expanding virtual mental health-care options with $2.4M in new funding to expand virtual assessments.

-New Costco coming to Wpg, planned for the Westport Festival development near the Red River Ex grounds and Assiniboia Downs. Good news for Western Manitoba shoppers who need a Costco fix! Here’s more from CTV Winnipeg:
