-Tornado warning is now over. Env Canada issued the warning just before 10:30 p.m. Monday for the Municipality of North Cypress-Langford, which included Neepawa and Carberry. The warning ended just before 11 p.m.
-This morning a severe thunderstorm watch was issued for parts of Manitoba. The severe threat will ease later this morning, but then redevelop in many areas this afternoon. Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when atmospheric conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms that could produce one or more of the following: large hail, damaging winds, torrential rainfall.
-MB RCMP have started interviewing survivors of Carberry crash. Autopsies have also begun to positively identify those who died.
-MB to review deadly intersection, bring in experts if needed: premier. Answers could take ‘weeks or months’, investigators say.
-Missing Brandon man believed to be deceased, police say. No signs of foul play, as a body was found Sunday evening near Assiniboine River.
-McCain Foods will be hosting a Free Fry Day Event in Brandon to raise money for Ronald McDonald House. Thursday, July 6th at the Keystone Centre parking lot from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
-MB Byelection: Liberal’s Ben Carr to take father’s seat in Wpg South. Branden Leslie holds on to Portage-Lisgar for Conservatives.
