-Vigil planned for victims of fatal MB crash after RCMP publicly release names Thursday. The Memorial service will take place Thursday night in Dauphin, 7 pm in the Ukrainian Orthodox Auditorium (8th Ave Hall) at 304 Whitmore Ave. E and will likely be streamed live.
-3 MB children have died in separate drowning incidents over 5 days. RCMP are investigating a pair of child drownings at lakes in northern MB. In a third incident Monday, another child drowned in a retention pond near a Portage home.
-4 taken to hospital in Ste. Rose quad crash. An 18yr old facing impaired driving charges after rolling a quad with 3 passengers.
– A 25yr old man is dead after an incident involving a vehicle that went into a ditch in the RM of Emerson-Franklin Sunday. Police say the man hit the ditch, and got out to push it, but it suddenly reversed and hit him.
-Porter Airlines announces direct flights between Winnipeg and Toronto starting next September.
-Local Manitoba berries are ready for the picking, as prairie fruit growers says it’s an earlier season thanks to hot spring weather.
