-RV fire under investigation. A local auto-body repair shop is closed after a parked RV caught fire next to the building. First responders were called to Assiniboine Collision and Glass after receiving reports of a fire, discovering that a Beaver Marquis RV had been totally consumed by flames.
-The new outdoor sports field complex in Brandon on 1st Street and Veterans Way is cis on time and under budget. A report to city council on Monday said the $16.6-million project is on time, and is $400,000 under budget.
-Folklorama attendance numbers; 301,460 people visited the 40 pavilions. The organization said they saw an average increase of five per cent in paid attendance.
