Leon’s Headlines Nov 17: A tragic accident has claimed the life of a 9yr old girl during a game of hide & seek Monday, at a school on a Hutterite colony. During the gym glass game, the girl went into a storage room to hide, when a stack of tables leaning fell.
-The victim of a violent hammer attack in Brandon died last night at HSC. Eric Lepine was airlifted to Wpg after emergency crews pulled him from a burning house on 15th St Monday, a fire police say was purposely set. A second man suffered minor injuries when he was also hit in the head during the attack. A 32yr old man in custody will appear in court Tuesday on multiple charges that may be upgraded.

The Santa Parade marks the unofficial beginning of the holiday season and will start at 6pm November 18th. Colorful floats, festive music, and of course, the jolly old man himself, Santa Claus, will be part of the 30-40 minute display that will include judging categories including Best Parade Theme, Best Decorated Vehicle, People’s Choice and most original.
