Leon’s Headlines Jan 17: School bus carrying 6 students, and a semi crashed, closed the Trans-Canada Highway at PR 334 in Headingley Wednesday around 7:45 a.m. Apparently the bus was southbound and was attempting to stop at the traffic lights when it slid into the intersection and was struck by a westbound semi-trailer: RCMP. There were no injuries.
-While Canada’s inflation rate rose 3.4 per cent in December, the MB rate slid to 1.7% thanks to falling gas prices. MB is the only province to see the decline.
