HISTORIC! What a storm. in my 25 years in Western Manitoba, I’ve never seen a storm with SUCH impact to SHUT DOWN most of the area. Highway closures, school closures and even some businesses remained closed Monday morning after a MASSIVE Winter storm Wholloped the area Sunday afternoon and into Sunday night. Thankfully the blowing snow advisory has lifted and highways should be opening early this afternoon. But it was one for the record books and snow totals will be made available shortly.

Look at this! In the USA, $125M ‘GUARANTEED INCOME’ GIVEAWAY, as Taxpayer-funded ‘guaranteed income’ programs which hand families up to $36,000 with no strings attached are taking place across the country. But this isn’t an original idea. It happened in Canada in secret in Dauphin back in the 70’s.

Man has eaten 34,128 Big Macs, extending own record. Don Gorske, 70, has eaten 34,128 Big Macs in a life all the more remarkable for reaching its eight decade. Yes, it’s one of Guinness’s made-up records, but regardless that’s a lot of Big Macs. Like 3 every two days for life. Wow.
