The Bill defines the right to disconnect as the right for an employee to ‘refuse to monitor, read or respond to contact, or attempted contact’ from their employer (or a third party in connection with their employment) outside of the employee’s working hours, unless the refusal is unreasonable. After hours contact will be largely against the law.
