-Russell RCMP responded to a collision this morning at around 5:00 am after an eastbound CPR train struck a semi-trailer on Highway 16. Police say it appears the two occupants of the semi-trailer were not injured, and as of 9:00 am the highway was still closed.

NEW in the budget? Tech changes coming. All industries regulated federally will soon have “the right to unplug”. The Bill defines the right to disconnect as the right for an employee to ‘refuse to monitor, read or respond to contact, or attempted contact’ from their employer (or a third party in connection with their employment) outside of the employee’s working hours, unless the refusal is unreasonable. After hours contact will be largely against the law.
