Leons Headlines April 23: A 4yr old child was airlifted to the Children’s Hospital in Winnipeg Monday afternoon after being hit by a vehicle on Victoria Avenue. Shortly before 3:30 p.m., the child “ran into the street and struck the side of a trailer being towed by a truck” in the 2400 block of Victoria Avenue. The child is reported to be in serious but stable condition, and police don’t anticipate charges will be laid against the driver..
