Leons Headlines June 7: FIRE at the Brandon Walmart damages the front entrance overnight after two Adirondack chairs were set on fire. Police were called to the store at around 12:30 am Friday and the Brandon Fire Department quickly extinguished the blaze. Thankfully nobody was injured however, with smoke and water damage the store is closed today, and possibly longer. BPS continue to investigate.

-The emergency department at Carberry will be closed for 14 days in June, the second since it reopened after an 8-month closure.
