Will Smith is once again King of the Box Office. The fourth installment in the “Bad Boys” movie franchise blew studio and analyst expectations out of the water with a $56 million opening weekend, giving it the second-best opening of the season so far and delivering a much-needed jolt to a so-far-sleepy summer box office. “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes”the only summer film to have better box office sales than “Bad Boys” in its opening weekend initially took in $58.4 million.

Will Smith is doing his part to get butts back in theater seats. The Academy Award-winner surprised fans at a recent screening of his new movie, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, the fourth installment in the buddy cop franchise. He snuck out of the theater to the surprise of many guests who just watched him on the big screen, to a MAYLAY of fans wanting a pic with the star.

Oilers Fans have INVADED Florida. Even tho the Oilers lost on Friday, fans are enjoy the heat, the sun and the cheaper ticket, food and hotel prices compared with watching their team in Canada.

WestJet Backlash. Last week we told you that WestJet’s new fare allows them to offer more budget-friendly airfares to more destinations, in something called ULTRA LOW FARES. The question then becomes: how much are you willing to endure to save some bucks while you travel? Because the ban on carry-ons isn’t the only eyebrow-raising feature of the airline’s new service. And people are NOT happy.

The digital banking machines have been re-calibrated and now tipping options of changed. A 40% gratuity suggestion is now a possibility. That’s $40 on a $100 bill. And people who had issue with a local pizza joint were fuming at a 15% group gratuity? What until they see this!

It hurt Red Lobster, but other restaurants step up to take a chance. All you can Eat Shrimp is gone, only to be replaces by Buffalo Wild Wings’ All-You-Can-Eat Wings. The deal is reportedly boosting traffic in stores by up to 74%. This as Applebees brings it’s US “All you can eat” Wings, ribs or shimp north of the border!

While Canada is short on the BUFFALO WILD WINGS (Minot ND is the closest) Manitoba has Applebees, which has matched the Buffalo Wild Wings offer (when you count for US Exchange) and has added ribs and shrimp to the offering!
