-Sunday afternoon Gimli RCMP responded to a plane crash in a treed area, south of Hwy 68 & 233 in the RM of Bifrost. A crop dusting plane was spraying a field when one of the wings hit a tree, the plane crashed and pilot suffered minor injuries.
-Jasper has been evacuated after wildfires come within a few miles of the townsite. Highway 16 East was closed while 16 West provided an evacuation route into BC. More below….
