-BPS have arrested a 30yr old man for allegedly sexually assaulting a 13yr old girl in July after the suspect allegedly gave alcohol to her and her friend. The man is to appear in court in November.
-Smugglers are advertising illegal Canada-US border crossings on TikTok. Since January a record 13K were arrested crossing illegally, 9K between May & July alone.
-Wheat Kings open regular season tomorrow as they host Moose Jaw, after a tailgate party at MNP hall with entertainment, food & drinks starting at 5pm.

The US Federal reserve has now dropped interest rates south of the border, by a full 1/2 point which is good news for Canada, since so much of what we eat (especially fresh fruit and vegetables) comes from the US. And some things like bacon and gasoline have come down in price, while coffee and eggs continue to be stubbornly expensive.
