THANKS AMY from REGENESIS READINGS for coming on the show! Spiritual readings offer a way for people to connect with loved ones who have passed, often seeking comfort, closure, or guidance. Conducted by mediums, these readings serve as a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms, where messages are believed to come through impressions, visions, or words. People may feel reassured or validated when mediums reference personal details only known to them and their loved ones. Communication from the deceased is often indirect, conveyed through feelings or symbolic images, requiring interpretation by the medium. While some remain skeptical, those who have meaningful experiences often find healing, closure, and a sense of ongoing connection, affirming love’s continuity beyond physical life. THANKS Mathew Komus who joined us from the Winnipeg Ghost WALK. The walk dives into the spooky side of downtown Winnipeg, guiding you through haunted spots and eerie tales. As you wander the historic Exchange District, you’ll hear about ghostly sightings and strange noises reported for years. Stops include the Burton Cummings Theatre, said to be haunted by a former stagehand, and the creepy Vaughan Street Jail, where some inmates may have never left. Some tours even visit the Fort Garry Hotel, home to a “Lady in White” who appears at the foot of guests’ beds. Blending local history with chilling folklore, the Ghost Walk is perfect for skeptics and believers alike looking for a unique Winnipeg experience. HERE’S the group’s FB Page:

Lower Fort Gary is HAUNTED?!?!? WHO knew? Carolyn Weiss joined us from Friends of Lower Fort Gary, just north of Winnipeg, is a well-known historical site with a reputation for ghostly activity. Built in the 1830s by the Hudson’s Bay Company, it served as a trading post, prison, mental asylum, and military training center over the years—ideal conditions for ghost stories to emerge! One of the most famous ghosts is a “Grey Lady” who is often seen near the big house, the main residence on site. She’s believed to be the spirit of a woman who died during the fort’s early years. Staff and visitors have reported cold spots, whispers, and the eerie feeling of being watched, especially in the stone-walled rooms of the fur storage buildings. Another hotspot is the prison cells, where visitors have felt sudden chills and even seen shadowy figures moving in the dim light. Guides often share stories of doors closing on their own and tools being mysteriously moved, adding to the creepy atmosphere of Lower Fort Garry. HERE’S the group’s FB Page:
@givinguptheghostpodcast Lower fort, Garry was built in 1830 by the Hudsons bay company on the western bank of the red river. 20 miles north of the original fort Garry treaty one with sign there. A devastating flood destroyed fort Garry in 1826 prompting the companies, then Governor George Simpson, to search for safer location down river… To this day, the fort is still busy with paranormal activity as the ghosts continue to wander the grounds. #givinguptheghostpodcast#ghostpodcast#paranormalpodcast#halloween2023#halloween2023#winnipegpodcast#lowerfortgarryhistoricalsite
