Today is National Chili Day, the perfect time to enjoy a warm bowl of chili, whether at home or at chili cook-offs and restaurant specials. Chili has deep roots in Texas, dating back to the 1700s, with variations across the U.S., from Texas-style “bowl of red” to New Mexico’s chili verde. Chili cook-offs have since become a global tradition, with the largest held annually in Terlingua, Texas, since 1967. Although the Texas version doesn’t have Beans! Beans in your chili yes or no? Corn yes or no?
You tube says THIS chili is the best with MILLIONS of views on the recipe. However when we asked Ai this morning, it connected us to several different recipes and we’ll post them below. ENJOY and Happy Chili Day!
