During the credits, he tapped his right elbow, a recent gesture signaling Canadians to keep their “elbows up” amid tensions with the U.S. Fans on social media appreciated Myers’ subtle statement and his continued connection to his Canadian roots.

Speaking of Canadian Tire, I loved when Canadian Tire’s rewards system used Canadian Tire MONEY, the actual Cash! Some stores use points. Frank Zhang, who accumulated 43 million PC Optimum points, found his account locked with no warning or explanation, preventing him from accessing his points. He and other customers have been frustrated by PC Optimum’s lack of transparency and customer service, with terms and conditions that give the company broad power to freeze accounts. Despite Loblaw’s admission that its notification system is flawed, many members are still left with unanswered questions about why their accounts were suspended.
