‼️Special Weather Statement: 5:32 AM CDT Wednesday 15 April 2026. Winter storm rolls into the area tonight through Thursday. The biggest concern is the freezing rain risk along and south of the Transcanada highway corridor through southwestern Manitoba, and through the Red River Valley. There’s some uncertainty as to whether the freezing rain will be patchy or a more organized area of freezing rain/snow. Western and central Manitoba will likely see primarily snow, with accumulations of generally 4 to 8 cm. So enjoy the beautiful Wednesday, it will be followed by typical Manitoba weather, a NASTY NASTY Thursday. #staySafe #WeatherWhiplash
