WESTMAN’s “Dirt Blizzard”. A major dirt storm swept through Westman, reducing visibility and causing hazardous travel conditions. The event was severe enough to shut down airports and delay flights from Edmonton to Winnipeg.

Saskatchewan wind/dust event (SK) Strong wind and dust conditions in Saskatchewan created dangerous driving visibility and travel disruption. Similar systems have been impacting the Prairies with widespread blowing debris.

Montana storm conditions. Parts of Montana experienced strong wind and low-visibility conditions similar to Prairie dust storms. These events highlight how fast dry, windy systems can turn travel dangerous across open regions.
