-Canadians, contrary to the stereotype, are angry. Pollara’s “rage index” hit a record high in November, up by one point from the last poll in September. Frustration was mainly driven by anger over personal finances and high profile news. Albert was the angriest province followed by Ontario.

-MB introduces bill aimed at temporarily lifting provincial fuel tax. The 14-cent-a-litre tax would pause Jan. 1 to the end of June. | MB is also set to introduce legislation Thursday recognizing Louis Riel as the province’s honourary first premier.

-Police asking for help involving their investigation into a home invasion Tuesday morning north of Rossburn. 2 males, 1 female suspect entered a home, assaulting a 76yr old female, later taken to hospital with injuries & released. | 31yr old man arrested after BPS seized drugs, cash & weapons at a Sycamore Drive home.

-If radical action not taken against zebra mussels at Clear Lake, it will soon be too late: expert. Samples collected from the Boat Cove in RMNP indicate environmental DNA for zebra mussels despite Parks Canada’s ramped-up efforts to keep the aquatic invasive species out of Clear Lake.
