As we told you yesterday, a man wanting to import a classic car into Manitoba was subject to a $46 000 tariff according to the Canadian Border Agency. Upon a media appeal and with help of a customer broker, it appears all is well and he will in fact get his car into Canada.

BODY CAM FOOTAGE RELEASED: Authorities released body camera footage showing officers arriving at Gene Hackman and Betsy Arakawa’s home after maintenance workers discovered a body through a window. With no signs of forced entry, deputies considered the possibility of a gas leak or carbon monoxide poisoning.

Loblaw is expanding its body camera pilot, aimed at reducing retail violence, from Alberta and Saskatchewan to select stores in Ontario, B.C., and Manitoba. The company says early results are promising, but wants to assess the full impact.
