How are you feeling about the CFL Changes? Consensus is it certainly makes the game more like the NFL.

Dennis Gilmore:
That’s too bad. This is why I like Canadian football—it’s more challenging.

Pat Babiak:
They’re trying to make it like the NFL. Too bad, because this is Canadian football and way more entertaining.

Steve Geletchuk:
If I wanted to watch NFL football, I would. How are these changes supposed to improve the game?

Matt Cundill:
It’s smart. Field goals make boring highlights—unless they’re blocked. People stay glued to the action when the end zone is in sight. In the U.S., there’s even a channel dedicated to action inside the 20-yard line. Rouges rewarded for failure? Gone. The posts were literally in the way. Hockey should think about adjusting ice size too.

Tania Borton-Lidster:
The 35-second play clock change is meh. Right now, players have to play for their lives until the end. With the change, they could head to the locker room with over a minute left. That last-minute excitement would be mostly gone. If we wanted NFL-style fields and posts, we’d watch the NFL. These things are uniquely CFL and part of what makes the game special.

Derek Arthur:
So basically, the NFL. Cool.

Wendy Hale:
Now that’s a dumb idea!

Andrea Towers:
Kinda sacrilegious…haven’t we always boasted about our longer field?

Jimmy Kimmel is back! Jimmy Kimmel returns to air tonight, bringing his signature late-night humor and celebrity interviews to fans once again. Audiences can expect his witty monologues, quirky segments, and the usual mix of laughs and surprises.

The Trump Administration Links Tylenol to Autism. US officials are warning pregnant women to avoid acetaminophen unless treating a fever, amid controversy over a potential link to autism. They also suggested a lesser-known drug as a possible treatment for the condition, however many medical experts strongly disagree.

NEW TOP BEER in the USA. Michelob Ultra Overtakes Modelo Especial as Best-Selling Beer in the US. Two years ago, Modelo Especial unseated Bud Light after holding the top spot for over two decades. Now, Michelob Ultra has surpassed Modelo as the best-selling beer in the United States. We talked about some of the worst beers available and it was fun to look back at how we bought “Lucky” or “Minheaus Creek” or whatever is cheap.
