How many foods are served on a stick? Apparently quite a few at the Minnesota State Fair!
Then ONE Woman took the food on a stick concept and made a fundraiser out of it at the MSF!
Speaking of fairs! It was great to have Mark Humphries, GM of the Pro EX on the show today to talk fair and see what foods on a stick we could buy! Not only is there great food at this year’s indoor fair, but rides, ag displays, trade shows and kids entertainment! MORE HERE:
And while we may need to wait to get Yorkshire PUdding on a stick at the fair, they have everything from Chinese Food to mini donuts. And if you want to test that air fryer to see if you can make the Krispy Cream version of the goodie yourself, here’s the recipe we shared. Actually there’s 2. The one made from scratch and the Tyler approved easy verison.
Easy Air Fryer Donuts that are made from refrigerated biscuits! Just 4-ingredients and 5 minutes to make. These delicious donuts will be your new favorite Air Fryer recipe!
Ingredients
1 can Jumbo Flaky Biscuits like Pillsbury Grands
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
5 Tbsp butter melted
Instructions
Preheat air fryer to 360 degrees. To do this, simply turn your air fryer on at 330 degrees and let it run for about 3-5 minutes.
In a medium bowl, mix together the cinnamon and sugar. Set aside.
Open the can of flaky biscuits and cut the center out of each one using a 1-inch round cutter. Lightly coat air fryer basket with coconut oil spray (you can also use olive oil spray). Do not use non-stick spray like Pam (those sprays could be harmful to your air fryer).
Place the donuts (not holes), in your air fryer. Bake for 5 minutes at 360 degrees. As the doughnuts are cooking, melt the butter.
Using a silicone pastry brush, coat the baked doughnuts with your melted butter. Then cover the donuts with the cinnamon sugar mixture by dipping and rolling around. Use a spoon to coat the top as well. Gently shake off excess cinnamon sugar. Serve doughnuts hot.
Donut Holes
When you air fry the “holes”, set your timer for 3 minutes and repeat the process of dipping in butter and then adding the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
And here’s the version FROM SCRATCH:
Justin and Sophie Trudeau stayed at $6,000 a night London suite for the Queen’s funeral, and that is kinda big news. It’s a big bill. According to internal documents obtained through access-to-information requests, the Liberal Party billed taxpayers nearly $400,000 for politicians, diplomats and other government officials to attend the Queen’s funeral last September. The stay at the Corinthia London hotel — a luxury, five-star riverfront hotel, which included heated floors and complimentary butler service — cost taxpayers $6,000 a night and became public knowledge last October as first reported by the Toronto Sun. According to internal documents obtained through access-to-information requests, the Liberal Party billed taxpayers nearly $400,000 for politicians, diplomats and other government officials to attend the Queen’s funeral last September. But just how good is the hotel? What if that was money NOT well spent because it was a dive? What if it wasn’t safe or it wasn’t clean? What if it wasn’t comfortable. This had me worried so it best we see for ourselves.
Too many flowers. Looks like the TP might be one ply. And there’s so many people around. Is this safe? Is it comfortable? I don’t think it’s as good as a Motel 6, but you be the judge.
STOCK UP ON BOOZE! Manitoba restaurants, bars and drinkers brace for biggest alcohol tax jump in 40 years!
This car video broke the internet yesterday, after an incident Mar. 23 on the 118 Freeway in Chatsworth and was caught on Anoop Khatra’s dashboard camera. Video shows traffic moving along the roadway when a dark-colored Kia approaches a Chevy pickup truck that had just transitioned into the middle lane. Moments later, the truck’s front driver’s side tire pops off right in front of the Kia. The driver of the Kia hits the tire and shoots into a midair spin before crashing back onto the freeway hood first and rolling back right side up. As if that weren’t scary enough, the video also shows the tire coming back into the frame and slamming into the wreckage of the Kia as it skids to a stop. Aide from some bumps and bruises, thankfully nobody was seriously injured. WOW!
This is alot more UPLIFTING. Sorry for the pun. But a fun watch for Dirty Dancing fans! haha.
