-NDP’s Glen Simard projected to beat PC incumbent Len Isleifson in Brandon E. Brandon W, with 16 of 17 polls reporting, PC candidate Wayne Balcaen held a margin of just 98 votes over the NDP’s Quentin Robinson.
-Grant Jackson will hold the Spruce Woods riding for the PCs. NDP leads a tight race in Dauphin as NDP candidate Ron Kostyshyn has a 343-vote margin over PC candidate Gord Wood, with 46 of 48 polls reporting.
-Popular Vote: 51% of Wpg voters went NDP, while 58% outside Wpg voted PC.
-Heather Stefanson will step down as the leader of the PC’s; Dougald Lamont stepping down as Liberal leader.
